ABOUT OUR TEAM
Pre‑Marital and Post‑Marital Counseling with Compassion, Wisdom, and Purpose
Dr. Pamela Joy brings a deep passion for people and a heart for healing to every couple she serves. She holds a Doctorate of Ministry and Christian Counseling from Liberty University, along with a Master of Applied Sciences and Religious Education. For more than a decade, she has counseled women navigating trauma and supported married couples facing complex relational challenges. As the author of two books and a speaker at pre‑marital conferences throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Dr. Joy is committed to helping couples build marriages rooted in understanding, unity, and faith.
Pamela is an ordained minister through International Harvest Christian Fellowship Church and a certified Chaplain with IFOC. Together with her husband, Pastor Cyrus Campbell—also an ordained minister and certified Chaplain—they have spent the last ten years ministering in prison settings to individuals who have experienced severe and long‑term trauma. This work has given them a unique ability to recognize the deeper emotional and systemic issues that often influence relationships. Their insight helps couples identify the underlying causes of conflict and move forward with renewed clarity, purpose, and hope.
Pastor Cyrus continues to serve through programs such as Bridges to Life and remains dedicated to supporting men transitioning out of incarceration. Both Pamela and Cyrus serve on the advisory board for KAIROS of Texas Inside Prison Ministry Teams, offering spiritual guidance and leadership.
Why Pre‑Marital and Post‑Marital Counseling Matters
Dr. Joy’s Pre‑Marital Workshop was created to help couples enter marriage with a shared vision, healthy communication tools, and the confidence to build meaningful traditions and memories. It is designed not only to prepare couples for the wedding day, but for the lifelong partnership that follows.
Post‑marital counseling extends that support into the early years of marriage—when new roles, expectations, and challenges naturally arise. Many couples seek this guidance proactively, not because something is “wrong,” but because they want to strengthen their foundation, stay aligned, and cultivate habits that support a thriving marriage. Pamela and Cyrus help couples navigate these transitions with compassion, insight, and practical tools that foster resilience and connection.
Together, Dr. Pamela Joy and Pastor Cyrus Campbell offer a safe, faith‑centered space for couples to grow, heal, and build marriages that endure.
